Reico S. Hopewell is a Knoxville, Tennessee native, entrepreneur, licensed real estate professional, consultant, behavioral health professional, and community leader whose life and career have been dedicated to helping people build stronger lives, stronger businesses, and stronger communities.

With decades of personal and professional experience rooted in resilience, service, leadership, and entrepreneurship, Hopewell has developed a unique ability to connect the worlds of real estate, business development, behavioral health, nonprofit leadership, housing, and community empowerment.

As a licensed Tennessee real estate professional affiliated with Wallace Real Estate, Hopewell brings much more than traditional real estate experience to his clients. His background includes land acquisition, real estate investment, residential construction, remodeling, property development, project oversight, home buying and selling, and short- and long-term rental operations. Through this experience, he approaches real estate from a consultant-first perspective—helping clients understand not simply a transaction, but the opportunities surrounding property ownership, development, investment, and wealth building.

Hopewell is also the Founder and CEO of Hopewell Consulting LLC, where he assists entrepreneurs, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and real estate ventures with organizational development and strategic planning. His consulting work includes business formation, nonprofit development, operational planning, policies and procedures, compliance, staff development, branding, strategic growth, and real estate development strategies.

His entrepreneurial leadership extends into behavioral health and recovery services. As the Founder and Owner of Hopewell A&D Counseling LLC, Hopewell provides professional alcohol and drug assessment, counseling, education, and substance-use-related services. He holds several respected professional credentials, including Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor II (LADAC II), Qualified Clinical Supervisor (QCS), National Certified Addictions Counselor I (NCAC I), and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).

That commitment led him to co-found The Mend House Sober Living Community, where individuals were provided structured recovery housing centered on accountability, employment, education, mentoring, affordability, and personal development. His broader community work continues through The HopeWell Foundation, where he serves as Founder and Executive Director, helping individuals affected by substance use and socioeconomic disparities gain access to resources, recovery support, and opportunities for stability.

Hopewell's entrepreneurial and community leadership has received recognition throughout East Tennessee. His honors include the Community Champion Award from the Metro Drug Coalition, OBC Heroes Award, Outstanding Non-Profit Organization recognition from 100 Women Who Care, Agent of Hope recognition, the 2022 Minority-Owned Business of the Year Award presented through U.S. Cellular and Pinnacle Bank, and the 2022 Change Leader Award from United Way of Greater Knoxville.

Hopewell also serves as a Substance Abuse Professional for Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) through its Employee Assistance Program (EAP). In this professional capacity, he provides specialized substance-use-related assessment and support services, bringing his extensive experience in behavioral health, recovery, workplace accountability, and professional guidance into an employee-assistance setting.

His commitment to leadership extends throughout the community. Hopewell has served with organizations including the E.M. Jellinek Center, Mental Health Association of East Tennessee, Boys & Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley, Knoxville Preparatory School, Trinity Health Foundation, and Knoxville's Police Advisory Review Committee (PARC). He is also a graduate of the 2021 Leadership Knoxville class and has served in leadership roles with the Metro Drug Coalition.

Today, Hopewell continues expanding his impact through entrepreneurship education, consulting, real estate, nonprofit development, behavioral health, and community service.
